14. 有趣的歌Part 2Describe a song which is interesting 描述一首有趣的歌You should say:What song isWhat story the song tellsWhether the song is popularAnd explain why you think it is interesting示范答案：Well, when it comes to an interesting song, the one that springs into my mind is a song called ‘seasons in the sun". To the best of my recollection, it was sang by West life, who were really going viral when I was in my primary school.  I took a liking to this song instantly since it was so melodious. And I couldn"t help but listen to that song non-stop. And I even hummed a along to it unconsciously because it was so catchy. Despite its pleasant rhythm, it"s actually about a dying man who recollects his friend, his dad and his beloved girl.  One thing interesting about this song was its parallelism. The three parts of the song had the same structure. The predicates were the same while subjects changed from his friend, his dad to his girlfriend. And the predicates, i. e. the verbs appeared repeatedly.  Plus, this song helped me remember lots of the vocabulary.  And I learned some idioms like the black sheep, which means a family member regarded as a disgrace. To tell you the truth, I love this song to bits, so I memorized all the lyrics and listened to it a hundred times.  Unlike most cheesy and mushy songs about romance, this song is powerful and thought-provoking.  I really expect to listen to more songs like this that can delve into the essence of life. Part 31. Why are many music competitions popular in China?Well, the first reason is related to the nature of music itself. I mean, music is magical, powerful and contagious, especially when it is presented by the talented competitors, the audience would be easily attracted to the beautiful melodies and heavenly voices. No wonder those music talent shows or competitions are gaining popularity in China nowadays. Besides, the judges in the competitions are usually celebrated singers who have a huge fan base, and their followers are enthusiastic about the TV programs that they participate in. Plus, I believe the fundamental reason is that the investors could make huge profits from them, so they are keen on investing in such programs to create celebrities, who make the music competitions all the more popular. 2. What kinds of music do young people like?Well, I believe the majority of the younger generation like the Popmusic, including Rock & Roll, Blues and Jazz. Different genres of Popmusic share something in common. For instance, they have easy-to-follow tunes and catchy melodies; and the lyrics are closely related to love and friendship, so that youngsters find it easy to resonate with them. 3. What kinds of people like traditional music?Well, many senior citizens are really into traditional fork operas. This kind of music genre was very trendy and popular when they were young, so listening to them represents their nostalgic emotions. As for the classic music, another type of traditional music, I believe music professionals, die-hard fans of some musicians fancy this kind of music because they can appreciate the extraordinary masterpieces more deeply. 4. What are the differences between live concerts and online concerts?Well, I think the biggest difference is the atmosphere. While attending a live concert, the audiences can experience the immersive atmosphere and the contagious feeling. However, the tickets for a live concert must cost a fortune, so it is a more cost-effective way to watch the music performances online. Plus, it also saves you the trouble of traveling a long distance to the concert hall, I mean, you can watch a online concert almost anywhere as long as the Internet is accessible. 編輯：Moon▼IDE英創(chuàng)教育
