36. 積極建議Part 2Describe an occasion where someone gives you positive advice or suggestions about your work 描述一個(gè)場(chǎng)合別人給你積極的建議You should say：Who the person isWhat he / she said How the advice / suggestion affected youAnd explain how you felt about the advice / suggestions示范答案：I’d like to talk about a piece of advice from my colleague, who suggested me to do meditation to recharge my batteries. Frankly speaking, I found it hard to concentrate on my work recently. And my colleague Jason noticed that. He was kind enough to tell me that meditation would be of great avail.It has remarkably enhanced his work performance. After practicing it, he could work more earnestly and attentively than ever before.He said he did it mostly in his room in the morning and sometimes in the office. The beauty of meditation is that he could do it anywhere, anytime. Actually, it does not require a significant amount of time, just 15-20 minutes are more than enough.Also, he told me it is very simple to do. You just need to seat relaxed and focus on your breath and concentrate on your inner self.Honestly speaking, I have tried several ways of focusing on the important tasks, including listening to music, reading a newspaper, watching news channels for a while, doing exercise and so on. However, meditation has been proved to be an effective way to pay more attention to my work and has also helped me control my anger and silly emotions.Since I try to relax my body and mind during the meditation session, it helps me gain more positive energy to work better. I am so grateful to Jason’s advice which facilitates my work.Part 31.When should parents encourage their children? Mostly parents would encourage their children when they encounter the trials and tribulations. For example, when the kids underperform themselves in the exams, parents could encourage them to work harder next time. Or when they are bullied by other students, parents could help build up their courage and brace their kids for the confrontation. It could serve as a spur for their children to pick up the courage to face the difficulties.2.Should parents always encourage their children? Well, from where I stand, encouraging children is a good thing. But overdoing it may also be counterproductive. If we constantly encourage our kids, they would feel that they don"t have to shoulder their own responsibility. Sometimes parents should not be too lenient. Instead, they should scold their kids when they have some serious misdeeds. Only in that way can children learn their lesson. Sometimes harsh love is the true love.3.Do you think negative feedback is more important than positive feedback? Why? Absolutely, the negative feedback is the bitter medicine without the sugar coating, which cures the disease at the end of the day. We could reassess ourselves and take stock when we receive some negative comments, especially when we are obsessed with our achievements and lose our grip. The harsh advice could help us wrap our heads around the situation and analyze our tactics more discreetly. 4.Why is negative feedback as important as positive feedback at work or in study?When it comes to work, the negative feedback from a superior or the colleagues will help you adjust your goals and make the targets more manageable and achievable. Moreover, the negative feedback from the clients are vital  to find out the problems with the service and products.
